The turret winder is a result of what a customer would like to achieve and what we are up to. The customer wanted to save place and reduce noise, we engineered the optimal solution. This machine is used in a foil production line. It is equipped with Lenze drives and controls.
Older machines of this type has been equipped with gears and chains to transduce the power from the engines to the winding shafts. Jorni build the gearboxes and drives direct to the winding shafts. The result of this re-engineering has been an enormous reduction of noise and at the same time a reduction of dimensions.
This
application is typical for the business Jorni is doing. We offer good
quality custom made solutions at a very competitive price level, we want
to guarantee a good price/quality ratio. In this case we saved the customer
a lot of labour intensive activities and also reduced scrap.
This
application is to avoid the use of airshafts. By using adapters you can
also vary your core size very easily. The movable arms make it possible
to handle several role widths, from 600 up to 2000 mm (or more)
